The 360 gamepads seem to have the least amount of issues with this port

As far as fighting games are concerned, definitely ps4. I am using one and I have zero problems. Works flawlessly both wired and wireless. Steam has built - in support for ps4 controller and games nowadays show ps4 inputs including injustice 2. Just have steam on, connect controller and you are good to go.

I have a ps4 controller and a Xbox one, I prefer the Xbox, brcause the ps4 don't work for some games, in the first Injustice didn't work for exemple

i'm playing with a ps3 controller irght now (the d pad really sucks)

i also tried the ps4 one and it sucks also (the d pad is one piece and it's a bit hard when you have to do down back foward really quick for some characters)

the xbox one has the d pad as separate buttons son i believe it's much easier to use but i can't say for sure since i don't own one... yet

I don't think xbox one dpad buttons are separate. I could be wrong. I did a lot of research before buying the ps4 controller. Almost everyone recommends a ps4 controller for fighting games. Everyone says ps4 dpad is light years ahead of xbox dpad. Hell, all pro players use ps4 controllers too.

You can run games that don't support ps4 controller using a program called ds4windows. It simulates an xbox controller. The best part is that you can custom configure every button on the controller using ds4windows although steam allows that too. You can also set up macros using ds4windows. On top of that, the ps4 also has a touchpad which can be used as a mouse or an extra button nonetheless.

To OP: I suggest you do some research on the net before making your decision.

The dpad on that thing is horrible for fighting games.

If you connect the PS4 controller with a wire, it will work complete with button prompts. Wireless needs some extra work, never tried it that way though. Xbox one controller worked flawlessly too.

I think its about what you prefer the little joystick thing or a pad. I have both controllers and they both work fine, steam supports both controllers. Personally i prefer the PS4 dualshock, note if you want the dualshock wireless you need to buy a blue tooth dongle it works fine. You just have to search devices with bluetooth and connect the controller ( youtube it ) good luck.

I have the PS4 version and the PC version and use my PS4 controller on both. Love it.

If you don't have a bluetooth adapter, you can just use a USB.
