It's most likely not safe on block, so block the attack then punish with a combo.
This is Injustice 2, which means they are away on the other side of the screen...there is no punishment. ;)
I mean, not every character has a teleport...but perhaps everyone should have staple NRS moves like teleport, freezing, slides and insta-hit knockdowns.
Player population is low in this, most people play gear games.
I already mostly have to play across oceans, so many fights are already laggy which is taken advantage of anyways.
That is another design flaw for sure...but at least hers comes from the front. ;)
Enchantress does have an unlockable projectile of her own..tho only the meter burned version resembles other people's. The normal version is more situational...you can't use it to zone out Bane really for instance.
Btw, another thing about Darkseid is even with his normal beams, he can do a quick instant air beam shot that actually goes over her shield and hits her.
This will work in competitive play.
You won`t have problems with reversed beams or other abilities and stats that give characters huge advantages.
If your tactic is to counter all projectiles from another side of the map, then you are probably doing something wrong.
I don`t have ES yet, but as far as i can tell from videos, she is mix-up type of character.
With mix-up character the goal is to mix combos with specials.
Well the whole game revolves around mixups and staple NRS style moves/gimmicks...so it helps if one has some of those.
Naturally you won't sit at one end of the screen usually just countering projectiles...you have to get in and Enchantress has to, she can't blast across the screen and she doesn't have much in the way of cheap stuff.
She's got one freeze effect, but you have to land and meter burn a certain combo. You have to make use of her parries...which is rather iffy in laggy conditions. Of course when you do parry, you have to hope someone's string doesn't groove them out of possible punishment range...showcasing NRS' stellar design.
She has no real wakeup....only her soul suck is a possible but often ill advised.
She is said to have one of the best uppercuts in the game...tho I find myself eating jump in's even when I have a jump dead cold. I end up blocking instead which in an NRS game usually means a bad thing. Sometimes it feels like you can only anti-air if someone is still at the top of the screen.
Anti-air issue is either bad design or bad online, I suppose.
As for Darkseid...they want to be at full screen really. They, especially with teleport upgrade, will teleport around when seeing you trying to make your way thru the projectile fest. occasionally throwing in a teleport combo, which you may not be able to anti-air.
Makes for a good chase game if one wants, but not much fighting.
If they did it would be a rather interesting thing since the game already favors zoning heavily.
They had a chance to weaken Black Adam some too, but she doesn't affect him.
As it is she has minimal wakeup and you have to be careful with her spells since projectiles and fast moves across the screen negate those.
