Xbox One Controllers messed up

I have two controllers - one normal and one xbox one elite.
No matter which one I choose, I always have the same problem - I can't go up and left. When I choose to play single - my character just jump, and jump, and jump... to the left. And I can't do anything.

But when I choose to play with my wife - with the second controller... One works fine (without moving up and left in menu), and the second has the same problem as in single player mode.

Anybody has the same problem?

I want to mention that I have one good day, when everything works perfectly - even in main menu. But it was one-time action. Now I'm frustrated, because I wanted to relax and calm dawn playing this game... instead I'm angry and extra frustrated...

i just bought this an hour ago and have same issue. been searching like crazy but found no fix

Tried three other games with xbox one wired and wirekess f7 something pc specific controller. No problems in those only injustice 2. please respond if you find a fix, also keyboard does same with all controllers unplugged

I've been playing with a Xbox one controller & the elite, both wired. It was fine.
Big picture mode was turned on to play on my 2nd monitor.

Using Xbox one wireless, haven't experienced any issues.... have found I actually prefer it over my wired 360 controller.

Hopefully someone else has run into your problem and found a fix - good luck

Turns out had to remove driver for a drawing pad tablet thing my fiance had installed. found it in device manager. hope this helps

What did you discover? I'm stuck with same problem. It worked fine yesterday, but now it won't go up and left, and my characters keep jumping up and left. Funny thing is, I didn't install anything new. Soo what did you find out?

I resolved it incidentally - You need to turn on Big Picture mode. Steam worked in it like a console (xbox/ps) and controllers are working perfectly!

How did you turn it on ? I mean Big picture mode. I having same exact problem. The character keeps jumping backwards. I use Asus Gamepad. Was working fine before.

To launch Big Picture click on the gamepad icon near X on the right upper corner.
BUT! I have the same problem WITH Big Picture on since april. I CAN'T PLAY! :(

I've noticed in recent posts that Steam's Big Picture mode is what has been causing the issues for a lot of folks. If turning it off/on doesn't solve your problem, the only other fix I have seen is to ensure that you have no other directinput devices setup in your device manager.

Those are the only 2 problems I have seen regarding controller issues, hopefully one of those will solve your issues.

No... I don't want to unplug all other USB devices (have it too much, and computer is under the desk) just to play one friggin' game... What is more - I've tried it once (unpluggin devices), but it doesn't help.

BTW. I payed for the game and all extra characters and I can't play? It's ridicoulus... Even WB team don't know how to solve this problem (I've mailed with them some months ago).

There is interference with direct input device, which was in my case a "pc connect" app for connecting mobile and pc.

So if direct input device exist beside xinput device, it will cause a problem. It can be solved by removing DI device, or disable it via user config file.

The option is located in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Injustice2\UserSettings.ini file; and is labeled as DirectInput=on/off under the [General] section.

I have F310 Logitech controller, and it works great after uninstalling that app. (I think it would be fine without uninstalling, just disable as it says).

I was having a different controller/keyboard issue, but this worked and I'm wondering if it's a good catchall fix. I could only scroll to the right or down in menus and for fights my characters were stuck in a loop jumping backwards lol.

Go to the file: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Injustice2\UserSettings.ini

Where it says DirectInput=on/off I switched it to Off.

I'm having the same problem with the xbox series controller.
And when I play with xbox 360 controler it works fine.
