PS4 Controller, Xbox One controls!?

So im currently using my PS4 controller to play this game, big picture knows that i am (i changed the settings to ps4) and all of my controls show up as xbox one and there is no option in controller settings that says PS4, i get really confused with my clashes lol

anyone know any fixes?

I play with a ds4 and the game has automatic ps4 controller detection. Don't use ds4windows or steam big picture. Just plug in the controller or connect via bluetooth and start the game. It will automatically detect it as a ps4 controller and show ps4 inputs.

I dunno bro, for me it just works. Try downloading and installing ds4windows. Then just connect the controller and open the game. Don't use ds4windows. Maybe then it'll detect it as a ps4 controller. That's the only thing different in my system that I can think of i.e. I have ds4windows installed.

Even tho i didnt launch with big picture, i went into it, went to controller settings and turned off Global PS4 Controls, along those lines atleast, hope this fixes some peoples issues!

the game only allows me to use the controller if i have global settings on. once disabled, it only allows me to use my keyboard.
