"Unlock through gameplay"

Do I need to complete the Survival event in the multiverse ?

What skins are you referring to?? I bought the Ultimate Edition, so I got Powergirl/John Stewart/Reverse Flash with it. I just bought Mr. Freeze last night with the gems I've earned through playing the game and leveling up.

Cyborg's skin, Grid, is supposed to be unlockable by linking your Injustice 2 account with the mobile version, but unfortunately there's no way for PC to do that currently(if ever). So, really, I guess the answer to your question would be to spend gems to unlock the skins. Earn gems by leveling up your account, or spend real money to buy them.

Aaaaahh, ok, this is just pure theory, but I believe that one can either be unlocked spending your source crystals on it, or just wait and hope you get it via a bronze/silver/gold box. I've actually gotten quite a few shaders that way, though none for characters I really like. lol

I think that's what they mean by "Unlock through gameplay". Just play lots of multiverse stages, and you'll get boxes. From there, it's all based on whether RNG-esus loves you or not. lol

***Edit***

I would honestly recommend wait and see if you get it via boxes. From what I've read, unique skins can ONLY be purchased via source crystals, and they cost 6000 crystals. Shaders cost 4500 crystals, so unless you really, really, reeeeaaaalllllly want the color, I'd recommend just save'em for the things you can't get via loot boxes.

I got some of those from just playing online, took forever though. Not sure if it's based on character level or what.

Did you get grid?

Guys,

You get them by playing the character in "Battle Training" towers. After their arcade ending you will unlock their base shader alternative.
They sometimes drop during lootboxes but the most reliable and fast way it to just do a 5 level tower.

Have u already unlocked the specific shader? Cause I have done it at least 10 times and it has worked for all the characters I have tried it on.

Single Player -> The Multiverse -> Battle Simulator -> Novice Battle Simulator (5 opponents)

After you beat Brainiac you'll get some loot and the alternate color of the default shader.

There are shaders that open when you completing a weekly multiverse, i think this is for characters that you did't play in the story. Now you can get shaders for captain cold.

Thank you.

That is just the player 2 color shader and you only unlock one from the first time completing the tower. You dont get more for the same character by doing this. Its their alternate color for their default, essentially 2P color.

Is there a somewhat exhaustive or definitive resource that tells you about the games modes, features and rewards etc?
