Hi! I am really curious about one particular issue. I bought this game to play with my friends, they usually come over to my house to play. We really love Injustice since the first game and we were waiting for PC version of Injustice 2 for quite some time (unfortunately we do not own any consoles).
But when we got to playing with each other, I found Multiplayer Versus quite strange.
So, the thing is, Player 2 (my friend) has all the characters Lvl 1, with NO WAY AT ALL to level them up, no gear, no abilities too, of course. After some googling I found out, that on consoles friends can log in as guest under their accounts and get their own gear (if they own injustice). On PC, however, there is no such option. This just doesn't make any sense at all. Why would you have Multiplayer Versus then in the first place? If your only option is to beat up your helpless lvl.1 friends as your lvl 20 characters. In tornament mode you can play as equals but I have grinded my characters and bought Ultimate Edition precisely to play with my friend as the Reverse Flash against Flash , to show off my progress and stuff.
Why won't you let Player 2 have my loadouts? If that is not possible, how come they can't lvl up? I'm okay with leveling up Player 2 for my friends even, BUT YOU CANT DO THAT! Player 2 is stuck with no gear, no leveling up, with nothing FOREVER.
I may be wrong here ( I hope), but if not, can I get some explanation from developer? Will this be fixed?
It's just, if its impossible at all, why would you have this option at all, just get rid of this for good, leave the tornament mode alone. The only way to play balanced versus with friends is to have all the characters at lvl. 1, which makes no sence too..
I just wanted to make sure that WB is aware of the issue, and it's really huge for me. I bought the game cause I respect developers, I even bought an Ultimate Edition. I don't want my money spent for nothing.

I had to make simular thread, cause the first one was completely ignored.
I understand that the majority of players are here because of multiplayer and they don't really care about offline, but I doubt that I'm the only one dissapointed by the way it handled on PC

It just is the way it is sadly. I mean I don't get the point of making this amazing customization system, and then your friend/relative can't even experience it when he plays with you locally. Sucks. But I doubt they will fix this.

I kinda feel the same way, but I don't wanna believe this. I mean, on PC, without possibility of loggin in as a guest as on consoles it just doesn't make sense at all! I feel like we have to get at least SOMETHING, considering the price of the game and the delay.

I bought this game mostly to play the story-mode, but also to play vs. with my wife. Now, since the game requires leveling up and grinding to get gear, we haven't played a vs. fight yet. We take turns playing in the multiverse.

It took your threads to inform me that when my wife and I finally play vs., that she won't have ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that she helped me unlock. See, they have multiple load-outs, so I've been using #1, and I let her customize #2 for her style. It really does bug me knowing that if we play together, she'll just have to look normal.

So if I'm understanding correctly, even if I plug her controller into my machine, sign in with her controller, farm everything on her controller, that nothing will happen?? She'll continually just be lvl 1 with boring looks??

What a crock of ♥♥♥♥. This sort of thing, mixed with not getting characters we paid for alongside console players, really irks me.

You're correct by the most part. The thing is it doesn't matter what controller is plugged in, the one pressing the button after entering Versus mode is considered Player 2, which is always level 1 with no gear or any character whatsoever. I am as frustrated as you are, this has to be fixed.

Tea, that's exactly what I said, but they AT LEAST have an option, and we got NONE!

I would actually be 100% ok with this option. My wife could play on her "account" and unlock her stuff, customize it to her hearts content, and when we fight we can enjoy our own personalized characters.

Though, to be honest, I would much rather prefer she just be able to use my unlocks. Every other fighting game does this. Not sure why WB went this route, besides hating us PC players. lol

That would actually mean that your wife would need a separate Steam Account with Injustice on it. To be honest that just seems a little bit stupid to me, so if I wanted to play with my brother I would need to but him another copy of the game, considering that we play on the same PC..

Anyone knows how the Windows Store version works? I guess it's the same as Xbox, with the account thing, am I right?

unless you have premier skins, i suggest turning random customization on tournament so you can experience different sets of gear and shader combinations you may not have with each character @lvl20. it sucks you can't have both random customization along with the premier skins so you'd only be able to have bizzaro fight the default capt cold model sadly

I'm pretty sure there are plenty of us who needs this and in my opinion this is a pretty serious issue. Unlike console players, we've got no choise at all, and this should be fixed.
I'm waiting for WB response to this, you can't just leave this like nothing happened.

I am very disappointed about this.... I spent several hours unlocking shaders and appearances so I can play with my family. We played tonight and discovered that player 2 cant change their appearances nor select alternate characters like black lightning.... That killed my excitement for this game...

It's a good game in every aspect. But this player 2 not being able to use player 1s unlocks business is pure BS.... and ofcourse this is a side note, but I'd love it if they'd implement 2v2 fights like they had in MK, because imagine, BATMAN and ROBIN vs HARLEY and JOKER ? Awesome
