I hate Wonder Woman in this game!
Sorry about this silly rant, but I need to unwind somewhere. I hate, hate, HATE everything about Wonder Woman in this game. She's not fun to play as, she's not fun to play against, and I despise the way her character is written. There's a small bit where they try to make us sympathize with her but it goes nowhere and soon she goes back to her despicable self.

There's zero redemption for her. All the other ex-Regime characters were already villains or had some good things about them, even Superman. Not her. She's disgusting through and through. And the first game at least had the good Wonder Woman for balance. Not here.

And then there's the gameplay issue. She was already my least favorite character to play as in the first game, and things have barely improved here. But my real issue is playing against her in Multiverse. You people are going to think I'm crazy, but I think she's ridiculously overpowered. I've had more trouble defeating her than freaking Brainiac. Maybe I've been really, really unlucky, but every time I had to fight against her, even if her level and stats were lower she'd somehow be able to predict my moves and dodge/block so fast you'd swear she was somehow reading my mind. Whenever we both attacked at once, her attack would connect and mine wouldn't.

I don't know, maybe I'm nuts. Maybe I'm seeing things because of the absolute disdain I have for the character in this game (and right after how amazing her character was in the movies). Or maybe some developer just has the hots for her.

Move along, nothing to see here.

I agree with your story point. Her character is preeeeetty ♥♥♥♥ in the story mode. In matches it mostly works okay though, only very few of her opening lines make me dislike her. Just a lady having a bad day I tell myself.

But I absolutey disagree with her playstyle. She is my favorite character and I decided to "main" her. Have already played her 5 times as much as my 2nd played character. Her trait is so fun too use, she is versatile and powerfull and I am doing well against most archetypes with her. She dominates the middle distance. I only fear Robin and Batman. She is a great Bread n'Butter character, like Batman.

Diana rocks. The hotest babe on I2.

And no, she is lower tie. If you say she's OP, then wait to play against a good Deadshot, Red Hood or Catwoman.

The game AI input reads. Higher AI levels will counter slow moves with fast ones, and punish gaps pretty reliably. If you delay wake up it will just sit there and wait for you to get up instead of ever trying to pressure you like a human would.

Some characters are harder to deal with than others as AI's, though I wouldn’t necessarily put WoWo in that group. She is very hard on some characters like Robin and Black Canary, while she struggles just as much against others.

It’s not crazy to think it’s reading your mind, because it kind of is. Actually, as the game, it really has all the time in the world to see what you are doing, and find a move that is faster than yours. The way to best get around that is find your character’s fastest moves and use them to start attacks instead of using any slow starters so you mathematically can’t be beaten to the punch. This is something that applies to both people and AI's

You also have to be careful of moves that leave you open if blocked, in which case you cant help be be hit after (this stuff can all be looked up in the move list).

When it comes to the AI, you can often break through its guarding by using combo strings that are 4 or more hits long. The more hits they are forced to block, the more likely you are to break through. It’s a AI only thing (won’t work on people), but playing people and AI is a different experience.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is how horrible she looks compared to Gal Gadot lol. But I will agree with the character points, she's a mega ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the story. Got pretty salty when she stabbed HQ.

I actually am warming up to her play style, still haven't played story mode though so I can't weigh in there. Yes the AI does seem especially difficult as wonder woman for some reason. She reads and responds extremely well, usually in my case with a lasso.

She definitely isn't a flashy character but I think still has some pretty good tools. Some of her costumes are a bit goofy in my opinion. The bottoms that show skin look like she is wearing diapers...

Which is great, if you are into that sort of thing.
Wonder Woman in the injustice world is a compelte. ass. She ltierally tried to go on the rebound to a man who just lost his wife that he accidentally killed AND his home city got nuked. Liek she should have wited at the very least.

I am a Wonder Woman main, and I completely agree with your story mode points. She is a selfish ♥♥♥♥♥ who -although unknowingly- created Superman's horrific path to being a tyrant. She is blinded by her love for Superman, and gave him no room to grieve after Lois' death. Now that she has him on the path of being a full on dictator, she encourages him at every turn at the hope of him noticing her.

However, in gameplay, I just skip the intros and pretend she is Gal Gadot (I will admit she is a badass in this game even if she is a ♥♥♥♥♥). Also, I disagree with your gameplay point. She is easily one of the lowest tier characters in the game. Many of her combos are gone from the first game, and she relies heavily on being on to get her shield in. If someone can zone at fullscreen, she is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ unless she gets Hermes' Blessing. I still adore playing her, however.

EDIT: I agree she is OP as an AI, but most bosses are like that. IMO, she is nothing compared to Braniac. If he hits you once, there goes 75% of your health.

She's fun to play, imo & a lot better than the first game. I hated switching from sword to whip constantly, now it's just a random buff Super simple compared to other characters & she's just overall a fun brawler. As for her character, she's kinda brutal & over aggressive. Like, she's basically turned herself into a goddess of war mentality just for superman. She's his 1st Lieutenant & partner, so she's constantly trying to impress him to win his favor but he doesn't seem to really give a sh** about her.

They made the story seem like she corrupted him, but in reality I think he corrupted her & he's just making her think she did it to guilt trip her into serving him, kinda like how Joker uses Harley to his own ends..

As for her AI being OP, I have more trouble with Aquaman & Green Arrow AI. Even my AI loadouts have issues fighting those 2 & usually barely win.

Yeah, it's probably my imagination, but I'm serious when I say she's really given me far more trouble than any other character. It took me about half an hour or so to beat a lvl 20 Brainiac. I spent more than an hour trying to beat a lvl 15 WW and I just couldn't do it. I don't know, maybe I can't stand her stupid face so I don't look at the screen and I don't notice? I'm going mad here.

This is Injustice universe so she's not classic WW, she's Wonder B1tch (aka WB :) in this game.

I know she's not classic WW, but they never even tried to make an effort to give her some likeable aspect. I mean, Damien Wayne was pretty unlikable in the first game, but the comics improved him quite a bit. Not so for WW, who remains an utter piece of sh*t in the entire franchise.

She has projectile and long reach lasso I suppose...I've heard her lasso stuff has odd hitboxes too.

Plus the AI is input reading anyways.

I think NRS did a wonderful job create WW and Superman.

In mainstream comics, WW is adorable and somekind of naive. In Injustice she become the exact opposite of that, she's power hungry and manipulative.

Superman also become the exact opposite of himself, embrace order despite freedom.

Tha's why I love Injustice universe, it's very realistic compare to mainstream comics.

In human world the person has absolute power won't be adorable or left wing politician. Because that's self-contradictory, that's not absolute power.

So why should superheros be any different? They have super powers, they don't have super morality.

Batman's no killing rule can only exist in comic books world. Because it's childish and infeasible in the long run. Prison won't make bad people good or make them clothing and worry-free. Murders and serial killers will continue killing if they have the chance.

So I can totally understand the frustration WW and Superman have. Again and again to put bad people in prison, but in the same time know they will break the law as soon as possible when they are free.

Sorry for my bad English.

But what about peoples who was framed? BTW not all tho going to jail will be the same criminals. Everyone has a chance to redemption and this is Batmans position. And I partically agreed with it. Yea, sure insame guys like Joker have no chance for redemption. But others... I think they should have. But at all, yeah Injustice story is like new fresh air in DC universe. It is good to look at Heroes as Villains and where storyline goes.
