Report a translation problem
I got i7-2600K, 16 GB DDR3, GTX 970 and i could not achieve stable 60 fps in 2560x1440 until i toned that option down along with number of particles. Other stuff seemed to have little effect.
Sorry, didnt get it at all.
There's an option like "Lightning", it's next to Shadows, you could try lowering it because it has a big impact on performance.
In fact, you have 2 options here when you select 1080p on a 1440p display:
1) stretch 1080 to 1440 and get a blurred image
2) display 1080p in 100% size that will not cover all your screen, with black borders around the picture (no stretching = no blur)
Probably there's something similar for AMD, but i never had an AMD graphics card.
