1-Dark Overlord; 2-The Four Horsemen; 3-Golden Curse; 4-The Wanderer; 5-Ice Spell; 6-Mistakes of the Past (although I haven't played 5 and 6 yet).
Although you certainly can play in any order, in my opinion, the Developers have progressively improved the quality of the games in this series. The games started out Very Good and have just gotten better and better. The only story line thread thruout series perhaps is the heiroin becomes more "legendary" as series progresses. Art work and dialog is way above average as compared to most Hidden Object Games. IMO, puzzles have gotten a little more challenging in the latter games as compared to the first games in series.
