TT Isle of Man's Corner

Superbike

Supersport

This thread is for those of us of a particular bent. A time trial lap of Snaefell Mountain in "hardcore mode"...

1st person view (aka helmet cam)
No course aids (racing line / map / corner names / arrows / ghost)
Riding Style: simulation
No crashes

...this is of course the only way to play this crazy awesome game :)

The rules;

Gameplay footage
Hardcore mode as stipulated above
Lap timer must be on
Must confirm settings just prior to lap start (when in gear 4 to make cut-paste video edit cheating harder)
Must confirm settings just after lap end

I'll edit this post to always list all the confirmed times on both categories - anyone that can complete the challenge deserves to be listed on post 1 :) Top 3 get video embeds.

Very nice Bombdogs , i want to try that but the hemet cam i cant use it. Dont get a feeling to where i go , and somekind of carsicknes after a wihle. But i will praktice it more , hoping to get it done.

Good run. Nice butt puckering moment at 5:54. I'm game for this and I'll try to get something posted soon. Get ready for people possibly attacking this competition though. Certain classes IRL apparently have traction control, anti wheelie, etc. May want to look up the real isle of man TT rules for 600cc supersport and tailor the aids around that. I'm no expert though.

Maybe it was my PC or the video, but I almost ♥♥♥♥ myself when it looked like the game stuttered when you were going up glen helen!

Yeah rules are chosen to make it as hard as possible to ride - not really mirror the real life. At the end of the day - it's not real life - I'm using an xbox controller :)

Understand point about the HUD element - but as you can see in the video the gear display is not visible on the bike, so thats the one HUD element I'm allowing - it doesn't aid remembering the course, so it still counts as hardcore :o

Wow! Awesome run Timbo! Didn't really see any squirelly moments except the run down to the cregy ny bar. That'll be a tough time to beat.

You are absolutely an honoury member of the hardcore club... and I'd love to put you up on post 1... but the corner names need to go. They are an aid to memory. It's up to you to prove me wrong by posting the same sort of time without them on :)

Ah man, I can't believe I left the corner names on. I don't use them. Oh well. I'll try the Supersport next time in true hardcore mode.

I'm using shadowplay. you can try OBS to record also.

I agree, the fork cam shouldn't be considered an aid, but I can't say for sure.

Play.tv app is the easiest and most streamlined recording software to use. It's free, quality is good, and it doesn't cause hitches or pauses in gameplay.
