391.35 Nvidia driver, no TT optimisation
Fired up the game this morning and noticed it wasn't running silky smooth, checked for new drivers and see there is a new Nvidia driver 391.35, on reading the driver notes it doesn't mention TT, I installed anyway but the game still isn't silky smooth. I tried lowering the graphics setting but it didn't make any difference.

So game appears badly optimised, Was really expecting support for this game in the new Nvidia driver it wasn't to be. I'll leave the game alone for a while and wait for updates to the game and drivers.

My spec:

Windows 10 home 64 bit
8700K @ 4.8Ghz
16 GB 3600 Mhz
GTX 1080Ti
Acer X34a 3440x1440 ultrawide.

Sorry, it sucks when a game doesnt run smoothly - I hope you can find a little tweak somewhere that fixes the issue. I dont have gsync don't know much about it

try running your cpu at default clock speeds.

I could try that but 4.8 is completley stable and well cooled, cpu in 60'sC while gaming so no thermal throttling going on, all other games are silky smooth. I'll pop it back to stock speed just to see though.

Are you running at 60hz or 50hz? Some games I've noticed run smoother at 60.
Even if your Hz on your actual desktop is set to 50.
A good example of this is Ride 2 or Moto GP games - set your monitor to 50, set the ingame fps to 50 with vsync on, and it's not so smooth. Set the monitor to 60 and the in game fps to 60 with vsync on and it is smooth.
Though, with a 1080TI, you might be able to get 120fps vsynced!

I have a G-sync monitor so v-sync has to be off in game. G-Sync and v-sync is enabled in NVCP.
Monitor is set to 100hz
Hmm.. if the montior is set to the same in game fps, then I'm not sure.
Perhaps disable gsync and try vsync ?

Tried my CPU at stock but still not silky smooth despite me getting 100fps all the time.

Thanks man, I just turned on the in game performance app and noticed the fps going above 100fps, strange as V-sync should cap the fps to 100fps at 100Hz when set in conjunction with G-sync.in the NVCP I looked but can't find an fps limiter in the game so will try another way to cap it. Thanks for your help dude.
