pd: nope, its not done on rpg maker and yes its worth the 15 $ .
It deserves 10/10 from me. It up in my top 5 games on that device ( Shared with P4G, Trails of Cold Steel, YSVIII).
Worth getting, but 25 might be a bit too much. 10-15 is good price range for it.
RPG maker can only dream of making this game.
Lost Dimension is similiar to Valkyria Chronicles. Stategy RPG with Bonding Characters.
You have to work together to escape the situation. There are traitors within the pact, you have the ability to see into their minds. You are limited in the number of times you can do this between chapters. You still have to deduce whether they are a traitor.
As you connect with your allies, you learn new skills (also your teamates). I got burnt a few times, I got attached to that redhead character. She was a traitor in first 2 playthroughs.
All RNG bar the first playthrough first chapter traitor. Had to do a 3rd Playthrough to get the platinum.
One of those games worth playing multiple times.
I don't know how long it has been, but thinking of buying it again for PC. For $25, yes. If you have a backlog of games and can wait for a sale - maybe chip away at the backlog until said sale.
I think if you're reaaally going for it, the game may only last you 15 hours on the first playthrough and maybe 30 hours to get to the true ending. Unless you like grinding and exploring the combat options for subsequent playthroughs.
