Second, petrify is the best geo skill and that's not because of its damage. The damage of the skill is pretty much irrelevant.
Third, this is EA, expect to see bugs. Geomancy is a buggy skill tree since immemorial times. That's no argument for Respec.
First, you should test it, and read it, ironic, even wiki page for petrification is wrong
https://stoneshard.com/wiki/Petrification
"Destroys a runic boulder with 66% chance to Petrify all adjacent targets for 5-6 turns.
Each turn petrified enemies receive 5 damage, and the condition of their body parts deteriorates by 3%.
Each petrified enemy within vision grants +15% Geomantic Power."
Second, you're wrong again to maximize petrification you must have 3 runic boulder so petrification last 6 turn, so it need some setup
if magic damage count and deal additional damage, earthquake + petrification is godlike
I already test it, I bring bison to village and 3 peasant hit it while it petrified, it's bodypart damaged severely
Third, now you said this game is EA and proving need respect, because its buggy and early access, dev need to put respec to honor player time playing buggy and unfinished game
if you dont agree you're just gatekeeping this game, also have you find friend?
Did you know, learn to be kind and not agressive to shutdown someone opinion and tell them "Can you read???" gonna comfort your life in the long run?
It's internet. Let it go.

Technically you could also shoot them with a bow without missing lol. -200% Dodge easy crits too.
Wiki is not up to date, it tells you the last version it was updated. But than again, reading is hard.
Second, you are wrong again because the injury bodypart effect of petrify is independent of the damage dealt. It would severely injury the body parts even with 0 damage dealt.
The skill description is pretty clear about it.
But than again, reading is hard.
Third, EA games are unfinished products and subject to bugs and whatnot. You know that when you buy one.
Or at least you should because steam WARNS you about it when you buy and EA product.
But I will escuse in this case because I already know that for you... READING IS HARD!
Last, but not least, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings snowflake. I would literally kill myself if I had such a fragile ego to get mad about an answer at internet forums, but you do you. Like the last post; this is internet, grow up.
With regard to the peasant scenario, it makes sense that the effect would happen multiple times as each peasant would have acted during it's own turn. The strikes and shots part I have no idea. Seems like an inconvenience, but hardly skill breaking. Good to know though.
I definitely wouldn't trust the wiki to be right at this stage. A lot of it is quite outdated and there have been many smaller updates changing things even since RtR invalidated a lot of it.
"READING IS HARD!"
Someone lose his temper, argument is about reading is hard, have a good day sir! Hahaha
"Last, but not least, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings snowflake."
No need to say sorry to me, you're forgiven, It's me that should say sorry to you, snowflake :^)
Thanks bro, will do

It's nice to try stuff sometimes.
I prefer to play it the unintended way: I don't cheat, I use though out builds within the skills choices I made and still be successful with it while wholeheartedly enjoying the experience.
