bed roll needing hay?

I thought 2 herbs could replace hay.. I swear I saw this some where! What gives??

2 herbs make hay, this replaces 2 herbs making STRAW.

Bedrolls need either hay or straw.

Huh... so Bedrolls are a little harder to make now.

Still, it makes more sense this way. I always wondered what the herb was for. Didn't make sense to me that, to make a bedroll, you'd need a pelt, rope, and... nettle?

But some hay for padding... I guess that makes sense.

How are they harder to make? They used to be a pelt, rope, and straw. You could make straw out of 2 herbs.

Now it is a pelt, rope, and straw or hay, and you make hay out of 2 herbs.

Am I missing something?

I have been making Bedrolls a lot these past few weeks. Made multiple yesterday, in fact. It's always been Pelt, Rope, Herb.

If it takes Hay now, this is new.

I think the herb was either a bug, or a workaround since older characters did not get the straw recipe. It was supposed to need straw, not a single herb.

Changing it to hay seems to be a fix for it,

I just checked in-game.

The Bedroll now requires either Straw or Hay.

My Straw recipe was changed to a Hay recipe. Still two herbs.

So the Bedroll is a little harder to craft, but that's OK. It yields a good amount of EXP.
