no contractor at Brynn

Bern at Brynn doesn't give me any contract or anything just the option to by stuff
is this a bug or do i need to do something before it allow me to do contract

go to denbry or whatever the name is, verren will tell you the location when you go to manshiree and tell me elder about the old contract then go back to verren and talk to him

There no longer contracts in Brynn, but contracts in all other locations give some Brynn Reputation.
There are four contract locations Osbrook, Mannshire, Rotten Willow Inn and Denbrie, with ascending difficulty.
Each location also has 3 three questigivers, however it only matters by which you turn it in. Elder gives more local reputation, the captain more gold and the official more Brynn reputation. Two of the questgivers are in minor locations beside the main town.

Neither, Brynn no longer offers contracts. Brynn reputation is now gained only from contracts in other settlements and some caravan upgrades.

and Selling Commodities, save Kromm if you can and you can RP as a trader picking up Sacks of Grain and Beer in Osbrook; Coal and Timber in Rotten Willow area, Then Wine and Cider in Mannshire (or skip cider if you can't do Bees yet) then stop by Denbrie to buy Sacks of Salt to Drop off finally to Brynn 😵

No, denbry gives the most brynn rep, but you can do any other contract and get your reward from the baliff instead of the village elder, this way you will get more brynn rep.

-Baliff gives brynn rep
-Military commander gives more money
-Village elder gives settlement rep.

it is tricky sometimes, for example in rotten willow inn for maximum Brynn rep you have to get your reward at the inn itself, as there are 2 dudes that give you extra money, and the inn owner that gives you extra inn rep that is then converted in slightly more brynn rep

I personally wouldn't even consider getting that miniscule rep boost instead of extra money (specifically at rotten willow)

Does it sum with increased payment you ask? I.e. better payment because you asked AND better payment because it's captain? Or only one bonus works at a time?

Maybe I'm finding out how to hoard a lot of money, finally 😈

edit: though honestly Brynn reputations is probably the best long-term? so you can lvl-up tiers and get cheaper prices to push you forward into the game. getting local reputation is not as crucial as it will be upgraded relatively fast anyway

if you ask for better payment base reward is increased and then that increased reward can be increased even more by captain (x1.2)

It's worth mentioning that the caravan gives more options for faster rep increase so there is no reason to not get the extra money rewards from the soldiers
