harpies are fun

just ended a 10h run because I was killed by a harpy. SEVEN range dash. NO COOLDOWN on the dash. Harpies have a billion vision range. even thowing nets and smoke couldn't save my life. Nice to see there's lots of counterplay there.

i want to let whoever decided to give a unit with a 0 cooldown dash, a point and click daze/stagger, a coughing aura that applies fumble and acc down on a unit that already has 50% bonus dodge, that you've successfully won at game design. Even this fker's only attack skill applies a fkn BLIND LMAO

Glad it happened early so I could stop wasting my time sooner.

Yeah they are something. Oil makes them land and fumble too btw and it has a longer throwing range

I understand. Playing as Geo at level 30 and fully equipped, I was humiliated by the harpies several times. Even though Geo has full control over the territroirey, without prior preparation I could do nothing against two harpies.

Yea, harpies are broken, especially sad to randomly encounter one (and therefore die) on permadeath.

Well, they are brutal but you cannot, actually, randomly encounter them. If you approach an unknown steppe POI you might be in for a surprise. But it's not random, just unknown.

tip: If you really, really don't want to lose your permadeath run alt-f4. It's your choice.

yup, harpies are a gimmick, even in the best armor when they can barely damage you they make you bleed very fast and die anyway:)

Nope. Endgame harpies are not a problem. Its just not an enemy for low level undergeared chars.

+they actually fly. So sure they have a very fast rate at catching you.
