Some random questions about seal of cleansing and shields and adrenaline rush.
how does seal of cleansing work? is it good? it looks good, im playing a mace, shield, geomancy melee hybrid and trying to plan out what my build will look like, i also dont want to be too ineffecient skill choices wise but i also dont need everything to be perfect.

also raise shield gives -200% dodge if using anything other then a light shield, that means enemies attacks are pretty much guranteed to hit for the duration of the buff right?

adrenaline rush gives you that 4% hp back at 4 stacks but that doesnt seem as good as some other oh ♥♥♥♥ buttons.

might go up the warfare tree for the one that gives life drain, im mostly looking for some ways to get some hp back at the latter stages of a big fight.

any other tips or ideas or anything im certainly grateful for, thanks for your time and all the best.

Adrenaline Rush is excellent for a number of reasons, but one of them is that it removes pain based on your Willpower and Vitality, and gives you pain resistance. All around an excellent pick. I wouldn't take it for HP regen though.

Seal of Cleansing removes buffs from a 3x3 square with a target in the center. You have to select a target enemy. It's quite good against undead, which it increases damage against, or spell casters who like to buff themselves or allies. You can also heal yourself with it if you hit the right targets. I like it for a hybrid spellblade build.

I believe negative dodge increases enemy accuracy, so yeah, they should be hitting every time with Raise Shield. Can't say I've tested it though.

Hard to give other advice since a lot of it is based on preference and your exact build choices.

cleansings biggest sellfactor is something your build is basically a cookie cutter for already:

the undeads take 33% inc damage part (its a seperate powerful dmg factor)

apart from that it has nice utils but tbh nothing ud just also hussle n bussle through anyways.
to use it as a heal sauce is meh, there are better options.

disipation is possibly also not needed bc u culd go geo gear and stack DR that way ontop, if u combine that with magehunter boots and battlemage gloves u wont need natture or magic rez and if u do, there is the velvet cloak and later nistrian noble rings... there is options. plus going light will enable u the energy needed to sustain geo.

2 skillpoints however on a hybrid build that is point starved is better invested into reflect via seal of power.
a seal of power geomanced stone armor with seal ofreflection iss unkillable... shield mace... that is ur oh ♥♥♥♥ button right there

lol

to the shield question. yes -200% dodge wont make u dodge preatty much but it will make you block aa lot and increase the damage of your shield dmg skills bc they scale off of block power. block power reg. is also something you will have to learn to value.
watch out whe taking disengage because having negative dodge will ccurrently deduct natur and magic rez.

adrenaline rushs function is huge DR, no pain and loads of energy so yes its not a heal me up button, its a stop damage and let me act a ton button.

since the rest of your build does not really profit from athletics i would only opt "not this time" tbh

life leech enchant on the weapon is BiS and imho mandatory in endgame.

the survival line down to "will to survive" is what u seek.

i wuldnt go warfare. geo mace shield is too stingy to be a stance dancer. take a look at seal of insight and the amored combat tree.

cheers

you are truly welcome
enjoy your hybrid!

and feel free to come back for further duscissions.
id really love to know more about your xp. the build sounds super fun to play.

one last tip: try to position enemys in diagonals so you knock them into walls, they will get dazed/stunned and take % hp damage that way.

ideal undead corridor blender

when some replenishes max hp or enrgy do you get hp/energy out of it or does it just restore capacity?

the "replenishes 4% max health" in adrenaline rush means "replenishes 4% of your current maximum health"

situation: you got 3 broken limbs and ur max hp is down to 45 and current hp at 20.
u click "first aid" and it heals you for 45% of your max hp, which is now way higher bc your chest ad head are healed too so u end up at 60 hp.
if u still need more u chug a viviy and ur back at 125hp and all broken limbs are dealt with and u leech 75% more for 90 turns too. its op.

trust me the line down to will to survive is the goat for what u want

Seal of cleansing removes ALL physical and magical effects and objects. In practice, that means you will most often use it to remove buffs off foes, or to remove curses undead use on you. You can also use it to remove the pentagrams the vampire wizards put on the floor.

You can use it is an awkward heal spell by casting other seals on yourself, then cleansing them, but backfire could wind up hurting you more then it heals in that case. It also will not heal body parts, so it will not restore lost max life, only heal you to your current max.

Getting it also unlocks seal of reflection, which is an ultimate immunity to most mages' long range spells.

Yes, raise shield without a light shield will guarantee you will be hit. If you also have disengage, there is currently a bug where disengage uses negative dodge in its calculation, so you wind up with magic resist penalties too. For now, do not use raise shield and disengage, without using a light shield.

Adrenaline rush does a lot more than just heal you:

At 6 stacks (not 4), You heal 4% of your health PER TURN. But you also get 30% reduced damage (6 stacks of -5%) -60% Skills cost, +30% Crit chance, And all cooldowns drop by 1 every turn.

If you get all 6 stacks, It basically makes you a god for a short time. Unlike the others, it does not automatically keep you alive, so you need to activate it a bit sooner in the fight.

As to Adrenaline surge or the warfare one: Both are great, both will safe you in a tough fight, both require a really heavy investment in skill points. Pick the one that is at the bottom of a tree you are already heavily investing in, don't just take a bunch of skills you do not plan on using to get the one amazing skill it isn't worth it

If you have spare enchanting space, giving your armor health restoration is a good way to heal faster between battles. Try to get 25% or more health restoration, and you see a much faster passive rate of healing between fights.

Edit: wow, whole discussion happened while I typed this.

id check out the elven shields tbh....
plate girdle from metal guild for more block power
geo cowl and chest, battlemage gloves and either witchunters or fancy boots if u struggle with fatigue
agil is important bc of backfire chance.... dont waste the dodge by using a heavy shield. it will gimp ur energy management too.

so much good info, tytyty
Seal of Cleansings biggest selling point is those Cultist map modifiers which spawns unlimited Bloodgolems till you erase the seal and Removing Curses etc from yourself.
