it gets super obvious with rams quest of the brandy since brandy has become much more rare and expensive and the ammy he gives is much less in value
Otherwise I had zero issues with animals on build with large block and electro mage, but on most others I jsut evade them - risk/reward ratio stay too bad in my book, especiaily now with toehr reliable sources.
man that amulet makes me unreasonably angry, I always forget between updates that its worthless within maybe 3 hours of a new character so I find a brandy and get excited only to be massively disappointed, then i forget and next year upon the next update i do it all over again.
I imagine you can do this by first getting a knapsack, then buy as many claw traps and caltrops as you can. (Do this with a Dirwin obviously.) When you find a bear, work out a path that you will lure the bear through, and place claw traps along that path. Then aggro the bear and let it walk through your series of traps.
Another thing you can do, if you get lucky, is lure the bear into a pack of wolves or boar or something. You can Shout lure them, because they will go investigate the source of your Shout, and if a boar meets up with a bear they'll fight.
