Where i can found heavy boots ?
I think I remember Dietrich (Mannshire) selling me some in a previous game. But now in my current game I have all the heavy armor pieces except the boots. Bad RNG or am I missing something?

Alright so heavy boots are sold by blacksmiths, try the ones in osbrook or manshire, if they arent selling them i'd suggest what you do is camp out with your caravan at osbrook, do their contracts and then once you do all of them, go to manshire, do their contracts etc etc etc. This does 3 things, it gives you rep for both towns which both increases the quality of weapons and armor they sell you when you rank up from benevolent, amnity and finally in respect tier, and makes all traders in both villages give you better trade prices, lastly it does something actually really useful which is that after doing enough contracts their contracts rank up so eventually you'll be able to do rank 4 contracts in manshire and the same i think maybe in osbrook. This is very important because you're gonna want to do all the trader quests in brynn so that you can buy the late game top tier leather items, wood working items and black smith items. And last thing to do is that before you do any of that, go to denbrie and or the rotten willow because doing contracts for them gives you more reputation with brynn so you can eventually be respected by them, have slightly better prices and become able to see t5 gear in shops or the pawn broker who sells t5 gear for much cheaper but the armor will be mostly broken. Also completing t3 contracts will sometimes net you some t4 armor, IE heavy armor if you're lucky, and doing t4 contracts will sometimes net you unique armor or relics that'll make your life infinitely easier.

Heavy boots don't appear until midgame. You're still too early I guess. Try building rep with brynn

What are the criteria to determine when you are in the middle of the game? I am currently level 15.

I'd say keep doing contract until you reach benevolence with brynn. That's when you can start buying armor at the guild quarter

Old Mercenary Kendrick has his Broken Heavy Sabatons at his Estate (doesn't count as stealing), use metal fragments to fix it up eventually and repair kits or straight up blacksmith after whatever suits your budget best. T4 Heavy Boots

Heavy boots can appear from Tier 3 onwards, but only can found or purchased very rarely from the relevant merchants. It is much easier to find it in a tier 4+ dungeon or to buy it at advanced level 18-20+ from merchants who offer tier 4 gear.

In my experience, the earliest place where you can find it are the merchants of the Rotten Willow faction in the tavern or Brynn.

Pawn and Fence shops at Brynn sells items one tier higher than is the reputation level.

So you cna actually buy T3 gear even at Indifference rep at first Brynn visit. Not like it is needed or you have so much cash early but just saying.

Just visit pawn shop and fence every day, eventually they will have T4 gear you want.

Or at Benevolence unlock Smith Baliff for more reliable access. T3 only though.

I would love if someone could tell me exactly where you can pick these up as they don't appear to exist in my game - I've searched all around his homestead - this character started on the most recent patch so maybe the item was removed if it was deemed to be too easy a way to get some T4 armour?
