Ranged playthrough screen size/zoom issue
So, I've noticed this problem in other games as well, but the widescreen format means that I (the person playing) can't see what my character can see with this long vision on the vertical axis of the screen. This problem is especially noticeable when approaching enemies from the North because the bottom is further blocked by the UI.

At this point I'm literally trying to approach my fights horizontally so that I can actually take advantage of my vision, but this is actually becoming something of a problem for getting ambushed when travelling vertically. I have the tracker skill (those left side survival skills) and I constantly use it to try and avoid fights by listening, but vertically I can't even see my listening radius of 1.5x vision since the whole vertical view is already cutting off 10-15% of what my character can see.

Obviously, this is less of an issue for some heavily armoured character who fights in melee, but for playing Dirwin like a forest ranger it seems like a real weird screen size limitation that must have some solution.

Are we able to zoom out more? Kind of like how Stardew Valley eventually allowed zoom control out to 75% to help with this exact issue?

Oh! Let's go, all is well with the world. Feels surprisingly good so far. Am I right in thinking that long shot is just going to destroy enemies in one turn? Most enemies I first attack are unaware so that's double the bonus and it's something like +3.3% per tile of distance so...is that 66% bonus damage when at 10 tile range? And add the 25% bodkin bolt damage bonus and the body-part damage and you're looking at instant severe injury or death on first shot, right?
