Mannshire Herbalist always have the same outcome?

the backpack is always in his hut as well thats the main point of doing the mission tbh.

Am I wrong, or does the priest in Mannshire pay more for medical supplies that you sell him, after you do his quest? (and give him the book)

To me, the main point of the quest is that you get a true herbalist merchant in Mannshire, who pays very well for any stardust or hornet honey you bring him (or other drugs)

Yeah, he does indeed get better prices once you do the quest for him. So there's a lot of benefits to doing that quest.
Actually, afaik, all side quests in osbrook and mannshire gives you better prices on the corresponding npcs.
