Stoneshardlike: Of Blades and Tails
What does the stoneshard community think of it? The game is bizzarely identical to stoneshard down to the UI composition. And the way the player character bobs around when they walk. The environments, tree placement being in the border of the map and the dungeon transition area being put on center.
It's much less detailed and the difference in quality is very noticeable but it's pretty much complete. Obviously the main similarity is the game having a grid-based turn-based combat one-step-at-a-time. Most of the character development relies on combat abilities and equipments. It's basically furry stoneshard.

I don't think it's a good idea to directly link to but it's also on steam. A lot of the people on the respective forum is also talking about how similar it is to stoneshard.

It indeed seems to be inspired by the early builds of Stoneshard, that's why there are certain similarities, but it diverges from there and is generally aimed at a less hardcore audience (played it during the Demo Fest). Linking is okay, if someone would find Of Blades and Tails a more enjoyable experience for them overall I'd pretty much prefer them playing it instead of creating a #137 save system thread here.

Some things like the grid-based environment, turn-based combat, tile-based global map, dungeon positioning etc. are a well-established way of doing it within the roguelike genre, it's not like we invented it. We were also drawing heavily from other games so it's just a natural way of doing things in the game development.

More games similar to Stoneshard are always welcome, even more so if they cover a different range that Stoneshard doesn't, so that a more broad amount of people can enjoy the genre.
