Magehunter boots vs duelist boots for dodge builds?
Looks like the selling point of magehunter boots is supposed to be the 35% magic and some nature resists, vs for duelist boots the doubled dodge and extra bleed resist.

Both of those are pretty good stats. My build has no source of daze so most of the time I have to fight casters around corners and such to get on top of them before they can dump all their spells on me.

I guess it all comes down to whether you need protection from spell damage. How often do you guys find yourselves taking spell damage? Seems like they nerfed the mage bandit pretty hard and I don't know if I'll need spell protection to fight anything else. Thoughts?

Resistance on armor (except move and control resistance) only applies to the part it covers, so it mostly depends on how often you wind up standing on hazardous terrain, like corrosive/unholy blood puddles.

go for duelist boots, magic/nature resist isn't that useful for a single piece of gear. unless u get magic/nature resistance from ring and amulet
They recently added 4 body parts for each resistance so enchantment with magic resistance doesn't apply overall unless it ring/amulet. so it pointless to get magic resistance on armor.
While dodges affect physical and magical attack so this 100% better.

you always go for anything with duelist on it for dodge builds.

Im currently running dual daggers/bow.

i have passive 60% dodge and get up to almost 100% dodge from dagger crit passive.

Keep in mind dodge only turns the attack into a fumble so you still get hit. You only fully dodge fumble hits.

Just out of curiosity, where are you getting your crit from? I find myself having a ton of dodge and a smidge of block and bleed, but not very much crit in my particular build (I think at peak I have ~30%). I'm not sure where to get it other than sacrifice dodge on gear for more crit. Seems wasteful to have daggers with such low crit chance. The new quick hands skill is super annoying for me too, just yet another prebuff I have to do before fighting, but it's a good crit buff I need. Meh.

best place to get crit is from ring (the new ring provide 5% crit per ring (enchant +3 dodge on it)

I'm up to 100% passive dodge now so yeah going to start swapping things out with crit or block gear and rolling dodge on it. I don't mind using evasiveness or dashing for dodge some times. I wish we had a better dodge helmet/gloves but the gear I have works well enough. Gotta give up the backpack for the cape though, meh. Worth it I think.
