Farming Occult Cloak

idk if the wiki is up to date, Apostate has 5% chance to drop Occult Cloak
i wanted this cloak for my 1hand axe crit build
but i did this boss like at least 30 times today+20times last night ( using bedroll to save at dungeon entrance)
Can it drop from the Chest in Secret Cults (Proselytes) dungeon like before or only from boss kills?
Has any1 gotten an occult cloak from wormbearer and anmarrak this update?

I got an occult cloak from a random dungeon chest and sold it to some vendor after I replaced it with a Jibean cape from the elf vendor. This was before Brynn so most likely Mannshire, though possibly could have been a leveled up Osbrook contract? It was long before I killed my first wormbearer and I haven't fought anmarrak yet.

On retrospect, I probably should have kept it looking at the wiki stats, but I don't think the stats were that good when I had it, the wiki is outdated on so much stuff it's hard to tell what is current.

So, wiki never had droprates. Nobody is adding them or keeping them up to date.

But once upon a time someone decides to make a single edit to one thing, that they right now find very important. Then they forget all about the thing and usually never return to edit it again :) That's exactly what the "Apostate has 5% chance" information is. It was added in November 2020

PS: Last time I got an Occult Cloak drop was last patch, and I'm pretty sure it dropped from a random non-boss proselyte.

I got the cloak twice from Mannshire Proselyte dungeons. Once at lvl 7, and another one at lvl 10. Both dropped from the fat woman dual wielding knives cultist boss.

I feel bad for you, I started a new game after the latest update and it dropped during my 2nd round of cultist dungeon in Osbrook, quite early in the game.

damn blackbeard u r so lucky, im about to attempt on the knife weilding Apostate boss dungeon at Mannshire now to see if she has a higher chance compare to the lvl 5 Apostate boss.
And i am playing on a new character after the update

here a new update. IDK if the chances increase but it took me 3 attempt to get the occult Cloak on the lvl 10 Apostate boss at mannshire.
And I do not believe that the wormbearer drop it since i been farming the wormbearer quite a bit for my brynn reputation,

How do you guys "farm" bosses, if there are no contracts? You just go there anyway? How long does it take for a dungeon to reset?

Save before killing the boss, kill it. Did it drop the loot? No? Reload your save and try again. Yes? Congrats you have your loot.

The guesstimate is, one ingame week. That is, after you completed it.

Yea i got it.

I usually always get 1 in every run i do for some reason.

You can also give it to the occultist at the weeping willow inn for something.

I never gave it to him though because its too good for my dual daggers/bow crit build.
