Cheats

I'm looking to test some builds, but I don't want to spend the hours necessary to reach the levels I need. Are there any cheat engines or mods out there to help out?

Cant we just move numbers and stats around in the documents folder? Similar to how alot of other RPGs may work, just manually adjust numerical values.

If you find a way to get into the save file and manipulate it let us know, but the save editor works like a charm if someone needs it, it's a safe download from github with no viruses and crap also

I have yet to try it with stoneshard, it was more of a question than a statement.

Everything is a double (stat points etc) in cheat engine, fyi. the table was broken due to the latest patch last i checked though...

Would really be nice to have a build tester mode or something like that. Where you start out at "level 30" with all the skills but nothing allocated, and just a single room with doors going to various types of enemies and all the weapons/items on vendors for free, or something similar.

That would be wayyy too tempting for most people and would ruin the full experience imo. If that were available I'd probably have never played through fully the first time without using it, which would have really killed the feeling of "getting it"
You can still get the build tester as it stands now, you just gotta jump through hoops. Which is good.
Oooo they could add something where once you "complete" the game once it adds a build tester, that'd be cool. Or they could do like a new game+ type thing where you get like +1 skill point every subsequent play through. I'd be down for that.

I just want a cheat to increase the number of arrows. Because I don't have time to complete a contract and I ran out of arrows in the middle of DG. And I don't tolerate loss of reputation... the cheat engine didn't work.

This thread is outdated by almost 2 years. The save editor recommended in this thread is also outdated (by more than 2 years) as confirmed in this thread already via:
