My current game's herbalist spawn is "20" tiles NE away from Manshire.
Yeah pretty fa for sure
Edit: My current game's herbalist spawn is three tiles away from Osbrook.
I understand that its not difficult to get there, Just that it takes so much time.
For something so important as getting an actual stock of healing supplies you'd think it'd be closer.
I wont mind it being 10 or so tiles away, but I'd like the distance to be consistant.
I've had games where the hut was 3 tiles away, and my current run has it 20 tiles away, thats not a small trip for a new character.
I understand that, I'm not saying its difficult. I've got enough hours on this game to not be troubled getting there.
Dude, I have plenty of hours in this game, I've played it enough to know that.
My problem with it is it's annoying to have to do that on some characters, and not others.
If the devs want to make it A HUNDRED TILES, I don't care, just do it for every character.
When they decided to keep most medical supplies in Mannshire locked behind this side task, they made it not exactly required, But pretty needed to go do this task first before any contracts.
I'm fine with that if it took around the same time to do it every time, but it sucks to take a long trek I don't want to take, just to be able to buy medical supplies.
My issue with this is just that it seems unintended - it says in the description of the camp that it is "less than a day from Mannshire" and it often is not. I hope the devs notice and patch because it's slightly annoying and unpredictable, and I think it's supposed to be less of an undertaking.
