My game is consistently crashing whenever I try to exit the Tavern at the start of the game.

Is there a way for you to get the dump file or something? Hardly anyone has a crash around here, so your situation must be unique. Devs can't help you unless you give them the crash log.

Probably some cheat engine stuff or something like that.

Just black screen for a few moments, and then closed. It's fixed now, but was persistent before.

That's not really true. There used to be a really persistent bug on the linux versionwith archery (yours or the enemies) that crashed my game every 4-5 hour-ish, that hopefully seems to be fixed in the current build.
