cheers
I'm playing with Inferno right now and its an awesome spell
1. Have any treatise in the inventory.
2. Save game.
3. Exit.
4. Navigate to c:\users\%username%\appdata\local\stoneshard and open the GameSlot1 with notepad or other text editor. I suggest you make a copy first, cause, you know, ♥♥♥♥ can go wrong.
5. With the file open Ctrl+f and find the treatise you have in the inventory: o_inv_treatise
5a. For example, the tier 2 pyro treatise I had is called o_inv_treatise_pyro2
6. Modify the last part of the item name _pyro2 to _pyro4 .
7. Save the text file.
8. Load the game, load the save.
9. In the inventory the item name didnt change in my case, BUT reading the book unlocked tier 4 pyro skills.
10. Enjoy wrecking faces...
The tier 4 pyro and geo items are:
o_inv_treatise_pyro4
o_inv_treatise_geo4
where is gameslot1, in my folder for stoneshard ive looked all through it and can't find the damn thing.
Notepad...
Right click the file, select "open with" from the menu and select notepad. Or, you can open notepad, click file, click open, navigate to the save game location, in the notepad file browse window make sure you select All Files from the drop down box in the bottom right corner.
"where is gameslot1, in my folder for stoneshard ive looked all through it and can't find the damn thing." I gave the address to the appdata folder, didnt it work for you?
