Horse System and Caravan AI
I would like to send some suggestions for future updates, as the game will have a world that will be frequently expanded by the creators, it would be interesting to put a horse system in the game.

"Horse System"

1 - The player can buy a horse in the city.
2 - The horse will have its menu, where it will be possible to equip: Reins, Saddlebags, Saddle, Halter, Horseshoe. (These items can be purchased and there will be several Tiers)
3 - Having a saddlebag, it will be possible to store items on the horse, remembering that the horse will need food and water, and it will be possible to see its status through the menu.
4 - There will be different types of mount, and it may be cheaper to start a donkey, which would be slower, and then several horses, where they will have aspects of strength, endurance, agility.
5 - It will be possible to equip armor on your horse too, in case arrows or attacks by wolves and other animals do not cause so much damage.
6 - While mounted on your horse / donkey, each animal could have its respective abilities, for example (Running 20 squares in a straight line until you detect any obstacle, would be useful for traveling faster)
7 - In the future it could even include a cart system where it would allow you to load even more items, of course, all of this should cost a lot of money.

"Caravan"

I found the idea of the caravan system very interesting, believe me, when I met this game I was very happy, because I idealized a game in my head that I would like to create, and I found it very similar to this game.
My idea would be the following, you can recruit warriors, and select one or all to follow you, obviously the experience gained would be shared for each one, and it would also be interesting for the player to be able to program the caravan warriors on how to act in a situation combat, here are some ideas.
Right-clicking on a member of the caravan would open that member's menu, and it would be possible to go to a tab called Strategy.
There would be several options for checking a box, such as:

Attack enemies with a bow.
Attack enemies with a spear.
Attack enemies with daggers.
Attack wizards.
Always prioritize attack on animals. (If the enemy pack has dogs these warriors will attack the dogs first)
Always accompany the leader. (These warriors will always stay close to the leader in a battle)
Take care of the rear. (These warriors will always stay behind the leader both in travel and in battle, interesting for wizards and archers)

Yeah. Devs are very active here. That alone gives me hope that this game will be officially released in the future. I also have plans to make a topic here and there with some suggestions based on my experience with the title. I want this game to be as good as possible so I'll gladly help when I can :D Its one of the main reasons early access can be useful for developers (look at BG3 for example).

The "horse" idea, although I second it - it would be a huge work (animation wise)
Guarding the caravan - sure nice quest.

As for the caravan - that would be nice compromise to have regular caravans between cities - like coach system to move around. it doesnt need to be every day!

Personally I'm against mounted combat. It is really finicky to implement it in a realistic way, since on actual mounted combat you fight from the sides and cannot target the front (or you'll just hit your own horse's head), and you can't reliably turn around and hit behind you.

Knowing the devs' penchant for realism, I think they'll have a hard time making mounted combat an actual thing. Plus, mounted combat will only work best on the open field. Most combat done in this game is in dungeons.

Mounts would be such an unnecessary extra work but I would like to see mounted enemies that you had to kill twice
