I figured out how to cheat, and kinda wish I hadn't.
So, for anyone that has the self control to use these methods sparingly so as not to ruin the game...

-OR-

For those who don't care and want to tear some goons apart..

Fear not.

I've figured out how to duplicate items, but there is a caveat.
This will only work if you gave a "containers" folder in your "C:>Users>*your user*>AppData>local>stoneshard" folder.

If you do, here you go.

Run the game,
go to the inn,
rent the room,
go upstairs put whatever items you want to duplicate in the chest,
go to sleep for an hour (saving the game),
ALT+TAB out,
go to "C:>Users>*your user*>AppData>local>stoneshard"
Copy the 'containers' folder,
Create a new folder (I titled mine workshop)
Save container copy into folder,
Alt-tab back to game,
Take everything out of the chest,
Sleep for an hour (saving the game),
Hit escape and return to main menu,
Alt-tab out,
Copy old container copy from workshop folder,
Paste over current container folder.
Return to game,
Select continue,
The chest should now have all the items you originally put in it that are ALSO now in your inventory.
Cheers.

Alternatively, just put your purse in the chest, sleep for an hour and go to main menu, go to containers folder, find "purse" then the following "stack" and change the following number to whatever.
Go to game, continue, ta-dahhhh.

Enjoy, dont let it ruin the game.

Ps. Someone else posted a save file where they have all the books you get in the prologue, you can save all your game data in a separate folder, use that guys save file to start a game where you have all those books, put all the books into the chest, save, and botw you have a container save with all those spell books in it.
Boom. Message me with questions.

Basically if you use the "checkpointlocation" attribute in the save file you can force the game to spawn you in different areas. It can be buggy to spawn in r_p_archives to warp into the prologue on 'continue'. But hey you can fight the prologue boss with a custom character and also steal that stoneshard which never gets used and rub it in Verren's face.

You can also start Prologue and keep using Verren, jump down the hole to create a checkpoint, modify save file to load into the main world and look for a bandit camp bed to sleep in (since innkeepers doesn't work with Verren character).

Save file editing breaks the game easily... You can get 999 AP and max out your stats, apparently the devs did not put a hard limit on stats so you can increase dodge rates past 100%, counter and other stats in similar manners too.

Heck you can create a 'Saitama' build.

I haven't figured out how to add SP yet, but I have broken it a few times.
