Jorgrim - melee w/ two handed things
Arna - melee w/ one handed things or with shield
Dirwin - ranged or daggers
Jonna - magic with staves or pure magic

Velmir is useful only because both Combat mastery and Athletics skill trees are unlocked.

You shouldn't ever really play an "all-rounder" character, only thing that does is cripple your capability. There is no trait that works too well in any situation because Jonna's is so much better for magic than anything else. But leaving that aside, the next most useful trait for any build is Arna's. The remaining three blokes have way too conditional effects to be desirable for anything except their intended build.

He also has the best stat spread, no points wasted in almost useless vitality
if the game is fully developed, Jonna could have strongest and most practical character traits.
there are 8 magical schools in sorcery. and each school has four books that can provide Jonna additional one magical points.
if Jonna could manage to read all books, 32% magical effect will be given.
Jorgrim might could reach more than 32% weapon damage but Jonna's traits are applied from beginning without any condition.
Velmir is the best duelist though he won't even need Perception or Accuracy equipment to hit a big group of enemies, Accuracy will fly to the roof in 1 v 2 , heck you could even 1v3 inside the smoke cloud of smoke bombs and come out on top with all those hits on you boosting accuracy, Truly a bounty hunter Ninja, Scales well with Counter builds and enough for everyone from DW, too cause extra damage per attack done doesn't matter if they do zero damage all attacks on him just make him better.

On a dodge counter it just works or Heavy Armor with no Perception lol, could still wield that 2 Handed sword like a boss. But yeah Dual Daggers is more fun.
