Favourite build for him?
Probably going to be the build I use for the full game when it launches.
My first build was pure ranged weapons. That's incredibly strong, just not as fun.
I remember back in the prologue, geo and pyro were very powerful. I'll have to test out a sorceress build sometime soon.
But then I've tried to play as Jonna pyro so...
I'll have to give that a whirl, I think I have a while back, but I'll have to give it a real go this time.
Pyromancer is still one of the strongest builds. You can demolish the troll, without even getting hit.
Level 1: Take Aim
Level 1: Constant Practice
Level 2: Distracting Shot
Level 3: Mighty Kick
Level 4: Elusiveness
Level 5: Dash
Level 6: Sprint Training
Level 7: Anticipation
Level 8: Hunters Mark
Every single attribute point goes into perception.
This is the current build I'm running with. In combination with nets and claw traps nothing can even get close. After getting "Hunters mark" the troll is doable. Just enchant for resist control and avoid getting hit by the boulder.
After level 8 those skills are good choices: Peak Performance, Spot Weakness, Precision, Headshot, shoot to kill
This was after many jogrim attempts of the same build but i couldnt get early game done. 30% crit + the weapon damage on every kill still sounds juicy tho.
