Dual Dagger bandit leader.
I've killed him many times on many different playthroughs, but now it seems something has changed. I've fought him three times now and lost immediately, in two turns he applies bleed to every single one of my body parts and and I die. Theres simply no way to bandage it. It seems like a bit much for an early boss doesn't it? Does anyone else suffer from this difficulty?

he's pretty tough in melee but weak to ranged weapons. isolate him, throw net and pepper with bolts/arrows then finish him off in melee. don't try to facetank him while he's on full health or has friends nearby

i actually find spearman turncoat a lot more dangerous in melee than this guy

Every single bodypart? Seems exesive, lol. Bleed seems as a whole a bit more problematic as of late, it seems a lot more people can aply it now.

crazy daggerman boss has flurry of blows (dual wield perk) and can sometimes roll 4 bleeds in one turn, had that happen couple of times to myself

Use traps, they are op right now.

clawtrap + any ranged weapon.

I find the Plate-armored 2h sword guy much harder, so many staggers plus that charge-stun. Traps are cheap though, they trivialize most miniboss fights.

Bleed resistance is your friend. Tanned Boots, Wanderer's Cowl (tailor) and Splint Vambraces (smith) are affordable armor pieces that provide Bleed Resistance.

It's kind of silly that wearing heavy armour makes you more vulnerable to bleeds, it should be the other way round. I understand that there should be some risk from melee enemies even if you're heavily armoured but it just doesn't feel right, especially when you're fighting an enemy like the troll.

I might be wrong, but I thought that it made more sense, since lighter armors are more likely to have cloth in their make-up, which is more likely to soak up the blood, and staunch the wound. Just my two cents.

I've always found this boss dangerous on any build in the early game. Best to kite to zone while plinking down and cheese him.

It's been this way for a long while.

Early in the game the odds of survival are rather none-existent if you take him head-on in melee without wearing him down, which made it rather impossible opponent on earlier game builds for certain characters, but now at least we have new content/mechanics to help shift odds in our favor without grinding additional levels.
