There are plenty of branches to learn alternatively. You're not supposed to max one branch from start to finish.
good to know, any ETA on the next hotfix?
thanks for being so responsive, cheers!
bummer
it worked for me tho :/
I'm pretty confused by your comment that there are plenty of branches to learn alternatively. If I have 2 points in athletics and 2 points in dagger, are you suggesting that if I can't find lvl 2 skill books for those trees I should start putting points into different weapon skills? That makes very little sense to me.
Right now, it seems I have little option but to constantly reload until the merchant has the skill book I need, or to not turn in early missions so that I can try to farm skill books from the forts after resting and reloading.
I don't think that's the game play loop the devs intend, but I can't see any way around it except to just let skill points accumulate unused until I hopefully get a lucky drop on a skill book? What am I missing?
This is literally my only complaint in a game I otherwise love.
