how to beat the vampire boss with lvl 3??? i restart this game 6 times , i cleared all floors, but lvl3 is max lvl by starting the bossfight... i do some wrong? at diffrent forums i read: reach lvl5 or 6 before u can beat this boss. wtf??

If you suspect that it might be some kind of bug (that would be a rather exotic one), try reinstalling the game.

Other than that it's very much possible to kill the boss with a lvl 3 char since the fight is very deterministic.

are you tallking about the prologue boss? that winged vampire thing with the two statues?
you could potentially beat him with a level 1 character and not get hit even a single time... the battle is scripted to behave in a specific way. Very easy fight.... it can be hard to impossible tho if you try to be a bonehead and not learn how it moves and attacks.

long story short... just fight him a few times regardless of whatever level you are.

If you want tips on defeating the boss, remember it's important that you dodge the attacks. The surface you stand on may light up or shimmer to indicate the next turn's attack.
Try watching videos of other people fighting the boss or something if you're still having trouble.

I totally get that. but the area attack of him with 3x3 squares gives me NO opportunity to dodge. I can only stand max. 3 such attacks before I am down.
this is not normal. :-(((

Plus, the only way to do this at all with a level 3 char (how on earth can someone be level 6 at this point ? I cleared any tile in the upper levels) is with arrows. this is disappointing for all other class users. I skilled Fire and Geo spells which are practically useless here.

About the level thing: at some point it was posible to level more, and get more skill points, i think at some point was different to play the prologe from the game and the free prologe demo. But the last time i played the game one i got to level 3 too.

About the fight: you can check the skill's CD if you right click over the boss and inspect it. You can avoid the 3x3 thing by checking the CD and steping in a position in which you get out of the area in 1 turn. The charge thing is very easy to avoid but you must step close to a solid structure (wall or bench) to make the boss charge and hit it, this will stun it for 2 turns, use 1 of those turns to hit it.

Also, check the guide section for guides to kill it, and there also youtube videos of the fight if that help you more.

I have found something that worked for me in a Youtube video. Instead of having a weapon and a shield, wielding 2 weapons is MUCH better. that worked for me. But also I was just LUCKY that the Vampire did not feed on corpses in this 21st round.

Another way of beating the boss, is using range or magic to kite.

You avoid the 3x3 square attack by NEVER standing 2 squares orthogonally(straight up/down/left/right) from him. If he moves so you end up in that square: move.

It's trivial to beat it without ever being hit, at any level. Easier still if you have bow and arrows.
