It would just be nice to have, or at least be able to put the flask on the action bar so it can be hotkeyed.
That's why they said the hot bar.
I'm dual wielding battle axes. Aka 2 axes, twice the cost for skill usage even if I just hit once. (Up side is I counter twice) between my Yew bow skills and the footman&battle axe energy usage is very high. Yes, I too will fight one or two enemies then go back 2 or 3 rooms for a rest.
I also wait to clear all the barrels and pots to keep my noise down. So that means I take an extra tour of the dungeon. Since stealth is broken... negative noise % is the best way to catch them unaware.
Only the most tanky can enter a dungeon and action shout until everyone shows up. By then you have zero energy and have been tanking for quiet a while. I would hate to see the repair costs for that.
My solution to that would be a hunger / thirst indicator instead of clunkily opening the character sheet all the time just to check if we are hungry.
And also be able to put items on the action bar so we can keybind them.
It's just an obtuse system and it's not like it can even be defended w/ "realism" or "immersion", nobody needs to open a character sheet to know if they would like a snack.
You'd prefer an ugly hunger bar on the top of the screen?
Then why bother with it at all, Remove water as a system and the same amount of space as one waterskin from the inventory.
