I think there's only one potion which can effectively heal mid battle, but you still have to use one turn to drink it, it's a blue one, the herbalist should have it, afaik it's the most decent "insta" heal potion there is but very expensive 450 crowns

Other way to heal is to eat food, herbs, or stuff like that before or after, but that's it I guess

The herbalist sells a potion that heals for 35 health which can be drunk twice. I always keep one on me before visiting a dungeon.

It's not useless, can be a life saver! Most ennemies hit for 10-20 damage. Like LostArc, always bring one in a dungeon, you never know!

You can also get life steal on weapons + life steal potions (though I suppose both are rare?) I have one lifesteal sword and had a potion at one point I used for a dungeon "boss"
