Shadow enemy question

I am playing on Way of the Master difficulty and on chapter 4 scene 1 there is one shadow enemy that I cannot parry or dodge. I can only walk away from while I fight the other enemies and finally can fight them. Is there any better strategy than just ignoring them? I know I can do some dmg with the fist slam aoe, but thats about it until they are vulnerable

The only thing you can do is to avoid them. I think you can also push them (Y button on an xbox gamepad if i remember correctly) like any other enemy, until they switch with someone else. But yeah, you cant do much to these guys untill you beat the rest of the enemies on screen.

Yeah, I have beaten the game and thankfuly these guys were used sparingly. It's so strange how little option you have to deal with them. And on way of the master odds are you are gonna get attacked by someone by avoiding them mid-dash.
