my game has recently started closing itself every three to 5 minutes on me. no warning or issue just closes

I click play it opens the steam run box then disappears, I open taks manager to find it running but there's no game screen while pressing alt + tab it only seems to be running in the background. Am on OS Win 8.1

So, I open the game, choose the first world, get the introduction. Then the game instructs me to open the book, choose fire and rock, and combine the fire and the dirt. But i am not able to make this first reaction, when i try to combine these elements, both just shake and make a "didn't work" noise. I am playing on a ubuntu desktop....

Just imagine, which reactions do you want to see in game? Better with pictures (and citations).

I'm having a problem where everyday I'm logging into Doodle God Blitz and its only giving me day 1 reward. This has been going on for the last few days ever since the last patch where coins are now used as a currency.
