Is there a non-FPS mode in this game?

Can this be played like a traditional RTS witthout having to do FPS? The reason I ask is because the Battlezone 98 Redux game me motion sickness in FPS.

You can go to third person, but generally BZ is an FPS/RTS so fighting means as much as commanding your units.

Against AI, in the later parts of a match you can sit in "RTS-Mode", but early on and/or against humans you'll struggle without fighting yourself.

And most campaign missions require FPS.

My brother experienced something similar while playing Battlezone - and hasn't played BZR for that reason - but never got it while playing BZ2.

There's a command center where you can play as RTS-game, you just need to go in there (walk as pilot) ingame and use the control panel inside.

I think the F-keys + shift used to take you to 3rd person.

For ISDF, deploy your recycler, then build a scav or 2, then build a crig, then build a power, then build a relay bunker, then enter RB, hit space when near the console, et voila!

For Scions, do the same except power, then build an Antenna Mound and enter that, hit space near console. you can upgrade the Antenna Mound to an Overseer later.

yes. you need to build radar, go inside, activate and from there you can play it like C&C
(watch out on some planets are NPC animals they could attack you, kill them first)

He hasn't played it yet, but his issues remained unchanged from BZ1 to BZR and BZCC hasn't done anything particularly unusual.
