Is there a way to bypass the first time setup?
Check that you dont have a corrupted version floating around somewhere.

Looks like this problem cause only when print function called not from .cfg files, because string IDs that displays fine mentioned only in .cfg files and strings that displays incorrect mentioned only in .exe, like "ShellError" and "CommandPanel" groups of strings. Please fix it by using normal textout function in everywere in game.
I installed the DX9 End User Runtime to no effect, still gives the 'failed to start DX11 message'. (I WAS getting the instant crash without game files being created pre-patch.)
I'm looking for people that can test a fix for this problem, can you upload a .log file and a note with your email to the dropbox above.
I've tried reverting any overclocks but I haven't seen this in other games yet.

Killing one of them allowed the step to continue.
Having the same problem, I was able to join a few games but it just stopped working and nothing that I do seems to help.
