You do realize that the discord server is split up into the different chat channels it is so you can mute any room you don't care about, yes? This point is explicitly stated in the top of the #announcements room you join into. I don't know what you really expect to have there; do you want every single chatline to be of value to you? If that's the case you're not going to really find anywhere that fits your requirements for anything.
There's a #very-off-topic room explicitly to contain off topic chatter so those who don't care about it can have it muted. The game specific channels are full of game specific content, from people calling others out to prove their skill to in depth discussion about how to achieve certain modding results or show of said results.
The chatlink channels connect to the BZ2 and BZ98 Redux in game chat lobby are broken up into a a few separate channels so you can mute the rooms that contain nothing but "joined/left chat" messages. The #bz98redux-server-events channel is full of game start and end notices and is explicitly listed in #announcements that you will want to mute it.
The goal is to have an active community with lots of conversation and content generation. In reaching that goal you are not going to be able to read every chatline. I have to say that leaving a discord server because every chatline doesn't have value for you when the alternative is a relatively dead server is pretty pedantic.
Of course BZCC is being discussed. Sadly I can't discuss it much myself because I'm a beta tester and I have to double check everything I say is publicly indicated or I can't say it. So far there's been a lot of screenshot comparisons and ogling of the improved map visuals and details.
So is it active for each version to specify the Switch Version?
