Reasons(some of them) why this game is dying.

1. Too long and boring grinding. (So I play 50 games just to get a new skill, not worth it)
2. 0 custimaztion opportunity and very few contents.
3. Bad events.
4. Still bugged chat.

It was fun playing for a week, then theres literally no point to keep me here any more(my friends are already back to fs2).

And why would you go to FS2? This game is expanding while FS2 will cease to exist due to lack of updates.

Literally all you say is a thing that can change in coming weeks/months.

I didnt go back to fs2, on the contrary im sharing my thoughts because I see the potential of this game, We know its crucial for a game to grab its playerbase at the start. But hey my friends are gone, a lot of players I know are gone. I dont want this place to be a ghost town where Im the one here telling my friends "hey this game can be good".

I agree everything can change in just an update, but when will that be and whos gonna promise us that? Lucy promised us a "really big update in a week after launching" but where is it?

Yea, this game I prefer it over FS2, I could not play that after playing this. So its time for them to somehow get all FS2 players here and update this one to make it even better for the players migrating over to this.

If they let this fail, both games will die. The FS2 game is so bad once you play this its not even funny. If they move fast this game can grow and be around years like the old ones. Hope they realize they need to communicate much more on here and also advertise the game more too.

Agree with almost everything in this thread. I cannot go back to fs2 after playing this, i like the gameplay much better here, and the game is unbalanced and not p2w (yet)



Unfortunately this game is deep as a puddle. Basically one game mode, and no incentive to keep going. It takes forever to level up account or character. They don't offer rewards for ingame achievements likse fs2, and the events are pretty terrible so far.


My friends and i have just been trying to get wins for the drink rewards, but that has even been a chore in the last few days. It takes forever to find a game that isnt against bots.



They need to add more rewards and incentives to people who keep the servers populated. Currently new players will try the game out, find almost no games, then leave.

1. an elo ladder, to compete with each other in the climb.

2. Crews/league to compete, set up competetive play

3. (most important) an event that gives out daily rewards that are more than x1 small drink. Maybe an event that gives you a multiplier every time you play the game. Incentive the player to play 10-20 games a day.

I'm a bit upset that you can't use your own character in this sequel to the basketball series and the fact that you can't even buy clothes for your favorite character without using real-life currency irritates me a little. I play this game on the PS4 but I just wanted to put my two little cents on this post. Hopefully, they'll add some free content in the future.

Yeah definitely agree, the lack of customization right now makes this game contradicts its own theme.

respectfully disagree. When you put your own character and "free" in this game, same thing would happen again like FS2's PF invincible 3 and block. I believe it is a good direction for future basketball games, which focus on roster pick/counter, bench depth, and more importantly, assuring that all characters staying within the original intent of game design. Fixed characters and attributes, as well as fatigue system and substitution are great innovations and i just had a game yesterday against a well played scorer (ID ommitted) who kicked our team's ass in the first half with joey. in the sec he used carolina, hoping to carry the game and our team picked pedro and that locked her down. This kind of counter is fun to watch and I'm very appreciative that Joycity brought this up

I think there should be more events encouraging more plays per day than the current 5 win and badge event. Custimazation could be better if there are more items available. bugged chat system sucks, especially when you are in game, sometimes you cannot switch between team chat and whispers.
Most imortantly, when you queue, you cannot chat and basically there's nothing you can do than waiting. Given the current popularity of the game, you might have to wait for several minutes while there's nothing you can do. That really bored me a couple of times. I believe if developers can bring back the FS2 mode in this regard, that would be better and more user friendly

Those are are good suggestions. Regarding your other comment, I think there is custimization gameplay-wise but also custimization appearance-wise. I agree too much freedom on the stat-building unbalances the game but we should be able to make our characters at least look different.

They should hire some players in the game development, they really need more help. They are not enough to be able to keep these games with such a strong expectation. Tbh I always dreamed about a game like the freestyle football one but they killed it because of their lazyness and lack of work but they work the same way for this game, they can't go on like this... They need more motivated people to work on it and the players themselves could be very useful for that

Well I see where you're coming from but I still think they need to improve on the currency within this game.I've never really played FS2 because of bad computers from the past so I don't really know what problems to expect with custom characters. Although, I'd appreciate if there were some cosmetics and maybe, just maybe, some slam dunks or whatnot that we could buy with earned in-game money. Looking over the old game there was a good amount of things you could purchase without needing any real money while in this sequel there's little to nothing you can make yourself stand out with whilst not having to use six bucks. It's a pretty good game I assure you but there's just some things that needs to be looked into.

I think we can dismiss here, GMs are not answering to this post even though it has been the top one for 2 days. They also did literally nothing in the new update. They don't communicate to the community and they don't improve the game, either.

I dont know about your guys, but I am going to take a break from this game.
