Black screen after first phone call

I start a new game and there's the phone call and the subtitles. Nothing out of the ordinary, but then the screen remains black, I can still interact with the game as I hear the paper sound but I see nothing

This is a shot in the dark (pun intended), but if you use an Nvidia card (and maybe G-sync), and have set refresh rate to 'Fast' in Nvidia control panel, try setting it to On or Off for this game instead.

You can make profiles for each game / program there, if you didn't know already.

It has fixed similar issues with black screen after cut-scenes in other games, so I thought I'd mention it.

Okay figured it out, just had to disable some graphics options
