Hello, I just finished this super cool game and I miss it already. Are there any similar games? Searched for hours but didnt find anything like this game. The game should have a open world where I can walk around and needing to find keys and stuff. Thank you very much!

you may wish to consider infra or stardrop.
infra has a story of conspiracy and failing infrastructure where you are only armed with a camera and a flashlight. A hidden gem. Stardrop is a space salvage company that unravels a deeper story. see my review on the game page. both are highly recommended. Others to think about: aporia and fidelio incident

Yea Kona and Fire Watch for sure. The Long dark too. None of those are the same type of story, in the sence of detective. But they are all about just walking and exploring etc. But if youre like me i have to disappoint you, nothing has the charm TPK has. sadly

Draugen and the Fidelio Incident have the walking around and discovering things. Tartarus, Event[0], Conarium, POLLEN, and Observer are similar but they have more scifi themes. Return of the Obra Dinn is a grand puzzle. Aporia is a large world puzzle game (like Myst). Quern, the Eyes of Ara, cradle, Obduction, and Haven Moon are like that as well. If you want action mixed in then Prey is the way to go. If you want some action but not as much as Prey, then Subnautica is good.

The most similar I can think of is Miasmata.

All the games mentioned above are great.

But there is nothing that is exactly like this game.

Edit: Gone Home is like Painscreek but inside a single house.

If you like detective type games I recommend Sherlock Holmes games and Murdered Soul Suspect.

If you like it because it's a walking sim with a good story I recommend What Remains of Edith Finch (one of my all time favorite games) and Firewatch

Kona is probably the nearest you will get to the painscreek killings ,firewatch is also good

I haven't finished the game (Painscreek Killings) yet, but I was pleasantly surprised by INFRA ... can highly recommend!

There's Telling Lies and Her Story. Though you are just observing and coming to conclusions from information you gather. And then there's Town of Light, which is very similar to this one as well
