Time Capsule

I finished the game last night and loved it, but I was never able to get the time capsule by the big rock in the cemetery. I read about it in Derrick's journal, found the shovel, and went to the big rock, but I was unable to find anywhere in the area that I could interact with. Anyone else have this issue? Also, is it possible to find the time capsule hidden by Nicole and Hannah (the two girls whose letters we find in the hospital)?

Glad you enjoyed our game, the time capsule should be hidden near the big rock as you stated. Make sure you are facing downwards so the prompt to "Search" can show up. It may be hard to spot as there is no real visual cue differentiating it from the rest of the ground. Here are some images of the location: https://imgur.com/a/P2seYgU
If you still can't find it, there is a possibility that your save data is bugged. If this is the case send your savedata.txt found in (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\EQ Studios\The Painscreek Killings\SaveData) to us at [e-mail] so that we can further investigate.

Is there a time capsule to be found for Hannah and Nicole? I was hoping to get theirs too but is it just a dead end? :)

It is, unfortunately, a dead end. Hannah coughed blood while trying to plan a time capsule adventure with Nicole, and the idea never materialized.
