4k resolution black bars on screen

When I choose 4k option my tv has 2 black bars on both sides. Switching resolutions fixes this, but in 4k it does not disappear. Any solutions? It is really annoying.

When we tested it seems like the black bars only appear during the title screen, but return to normal while in-game. If this isn't the case try switching off from full-screen mode and then switching back. Let us know if this helps.

I have tried switching between fullscreen and windowed mode, it does not work.

First see if your GPU is forcing or interfering with your resolution (probably not since you are able to switch to other resolutions just fine), and then check for tv display settings like fit to screen, automatic, custom resolution, etc. (these are dependant on the model of your tv so we can't help you too much here). Also, make sure that your TV supports true 4k (4096 x 2160) rather than just UHD (3840 x 2160 which is still technically 4k) as these terms are often used interchangeably especially in advertising.
