Loan - Mandatory Future Transfer Fee in for 12 month loan in last year of contract

So I have two players in the last 12 months of their contracts and I'm trying to sell them. They are worth a few bob so I'm trying to cash in. After transfer listing them I got no offers in. I decided to list them for loan with a mandatory future transfer fee, and I got multiple offers in. My question is, will I get the future fee? Both the club contract and the loan will expire on 30th June 2022. If the game has the club contract expiring first then I would be afraid that the club will not receive the future mandatory fee agreed under the loan move before the contract expires. But if the loan expires first (which it should) then the club will receive the future transfer fee in 12 months time. Does anybody know what i can expect to happen?

Its effectively buy now pay later. You would get the money either way.

I understand how the loan contract works, but what I don't know is how it works in conjunction with a contract expiring. There is a risk that the game processes the contract expiry and the player leaving on a free before the loan is converted to a transfer and the mandatory fee has been paid

Legally they have bought him on the date the loan starts. You are just allowing them to pay at a later date. You will get the money no matter what happens.

I didn't get the money in the end! I had a player whose contract expired 30/06/21. In 2020 I loaned him out for the rest of the season with a mandatory fee attached to the loan. So rather than the player leaving on a free at the end of his contract, I should get the mandatry fee. What happened is the loan expired and the player left on a free transfer simultaneously, ending in no fee being paid. Might be a glitch
