Official Football Manager 2019 Announcement
New Season, New Look, New Leagues. Football Manager 2019 To Debut on November 2

London, England – 6 August 2018: With fans eagerly anticipating the upcoming season, Sports Interactive and SEGA are delighted to announce that would-be managers will get the chance to ensure their team finishes top of the league when Football Manager 2019 hits the streets on Friday, November 2nd with a new look brand.

Football Manager 2019 will be saying goodbye to the iconic ‘Manager Man’ who has featured on the cover of every Football Manager game since FM 2005, to be replaced by a manager’s eye view of the pitch as the gaffer and players head down the tunnel ahead of a big match. With redesigned logos, loads of new and improved features, and the implementation of the DFL Bundesliga license for the first time, Football Manager 2019 is set to be even more comprehensive in its realism than ever before. See the new look for the first time in this exclusive trailer.

From today, fans who pre-purchase Football Manager 2019 (for PC and Mac), from a SEGA approved digital retailer* or pre-order from a participating physical retailer will receive a 10% discount right up until launch. Furthermore, those who pre-purchase through a SEGA approved digital retailer will be able to kick-off their managerial careers early through a fully-playable Beta version, which will be available roughly two weeks prior to the official street date (single player careers started in the Beta can be carried across to the full game).

The first details of the key features in Football Manager 2019 will be revealed in late September through the relaunched Football Manager website[www.footballmanager.com] and via the official FM social media channels (including Twitter Facebook[www.facebook.com], Instagram[www.instagram.com],YouTube and of course our Official Community Forums)[community.sigames.com].

All three versions of the game – Football Manager 2019 (for PC and Mac), Football Manager 2019 Touch (for PC, Mac, iOS and Android) and Football Manager 2019 Mobile (for iOS and Android) will be released on November 2nd.

*Pre-release Beta is available from SEGA approved digital retailers only; please check here[www.sega.com] for an exhaustive list of digital retailers and more details as to what constitutes a SEGA approved retailer.

Sorry, not interested. There were no really €55,- additions on FM18 compared to FM17. And FM18 left so many GUI and ME bugs that I stopped playing in March, as soon as I realised you guys just released your last patch. Good luck SI, but I am not falling for this one - in any case I will wait for the 67% sale after the last patch 19.3 is out.

I don't mind the money, and the feeling that sometimes the increments don't appear to make too much difference, as I've loved this games since Championship Manager, back on my Amiga.

However this is the first one I won't buy as it isn't on Linux. I realise that linux is a recent luxury in the series, and I understand that from a development point of view it might not be cost effective, but I have resolved only to play on linux these days, so for once I may get a genuinely long stint with a club, instead of finishing a save to move onto the newest game.

Great news, I've just purchased new FM19!
By now I am still continuing to play Tranmere 3th season and managed 2 promotions in a row and now I am in League One alongside big dogs. I've never achived 2 promotions in a row, considering that I used to play this game even in Championship Manager times that's big achivment. Lots of stuff improved recently as players finally getting injured on normal basis so I can rotate. In FM17 for few seasons hardly any injuries, absolutely no realistic stuff...
Other aspects not changing. 3 seasons FM18 no shots from long distance, not even mentioning goals from long distance (25m) that's crazy. Big hope that's gonna change in FM19!
Sometimes game do not understand what is offside and striker was flagged twice in 1 match
(I can provide video) for being around half line circle while defensive line is around half circle of the penalty box. That's the shocker! In real life that would be easy around 15m, linesman would get sack for that, that's for sure!
Can't wait for new FM19 news & trailers. Hope that czech players do not need to undertake slovakian language courses and the other way around unless english players will be forced to learn scottish and other way around, that would be fair! This has to be changed too.
Greetings

Not interested unless there is a Linux version. This is very, very disappointing.

Can anyone tell me if update patches only take effect if I start a new save? Or can it continue in the same save and will they work?

'Football Manager is a funny game of football where only opposition team scores from the corners...' haha! Not only that, over the last few FMs never had a goal (header) from indirect free kick! So if your team got a free kick on the edge of the box, don't worry, don't waste your nerves, they are not going to score, forget it! Over the last 2 seasons I had something like 2 goals from free kicks (only direct shots), 2 penalties and 2 goals from corners each season. You think I am over exaggerating? I will be noting each set piece goal my team will score in FM19. I'll let you know soon...:steammocking:
