Removing the damn intro song.

Who had the brilliant idea to put a intro song in the menus? Its the most annoying song ever. And it usally pisses me off when I start the game and my ears bleed before I can hit the load game button...

lower fm18 in your volume mixer in windows 10
right click sound bottom right > volume mixer > put fm18 to like 10 lol

Song still plays when booting the game unticking that. It just doesn't play after the intro loads...renaming the file above is the only way it worked for me.

...and while you're at it, delete all .ogv files except fm.ogv and fmt.ogv from the movies folder as well = much faster loading into the game.

also, if you're on 16:9 like me, do yourself a favor and edit your 'static_splash_screen.bmp' to something like 1920x1080... or fix it with your favorite wallpaper...

Hmm removed the movies except those two, but now it's black and will be aslong as with movies.

There is also an option to turn the volume of the music down next to the check box.

Why are you on the loading menu so long , why dont you mute speakers before loading the game? and for me personally i havent foggiest idea why you listen to any audio from the game. i just put my tunes on and game hard. To each's own though.

Most mismatched song award?- it just doesn't seem to fit the game, it's a pleasing tune but the lyrics are some of the weakest ever to reach my ears

Personally, I really don'y like the song! It doesn't fit the game at all, you're right. Even then why couldn't they have a playlist? Bad enough to hear the same song over and over, now imagine not even liking that song in the first place!
